Luxury minivans are big in various Asian markets, but not here in America, where the body style is associated with not much more than unpretentious versatility. But if you want a taste (or two tastes, in fact) of the luxury minivan lifestyle, a pair of Lexus LMs have mysteriously popped up for sale at a California dealership. Both are 2025, second-generation models, each priced well into exotic car territory at over $250,000. If you want to spoil your family, you could do worse than one of these LMs.

What Is The Lexus LM?

The LM was originally introduced in 2019 as the first Lexus minivan. It’s related to the Toyota Alphard/Vellfire sold elsewhere, but the LM doubles down on luxury and refinement, with features like dual-pane windows and an ultra-deluxe four-seater version. The second-generation LM was introduced in 2023, just like the pair that’s for sale at Irvine Coast Motorcars.
The first is an LM 350h for $258,888 and the second is another 350h, but this one is selling for an eye-watering $269,800—you could almost buy seven new Toyota Siennas for the same amount. The ads were first spotted by Motor 1, and while it’s not clear how these luxury minivans ended up being imported into the country, these nearly-new minivans have enough luxury to shame a high-end Mercedes-Benz.

The cheaper of the two has covered 8,709 miles, while the more expensive one has covered only 1,936 miles. Both are black, but the pricier one has a beige interior instead of an all-black one. The dealer doesn’t include a features list on the ads, but it’s obvious these minivans are fully loaded. They have incredibly plush second-row seats with power seating controls, armrests, fold-out picnic trays, and dedicated touchscreen controls. There are even individual sunroof panels on each side of the vehicle.

Hybrid Power Only

The second-generation Lexus LM has one of two hybrid powertrains. Both models featured here use the less powerful 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid with 247 horsepower, so it’s roughly equivalent to the powertrain in the local Sienna. The Sienna gets up to 35 mpg with all-wheel drive, but the LM is likely significantly heavier, so probably won’t be quite as efficient.
An LM 500h is also available, which has a 2.4L turbo-four hybrid setup producing 366 hp. That should be much more suitable for hauling a luxurious, feature-packed minivan around.
The more expensive LM listed for sale comes with a clean CarFax, showing that it was first registered in Oregon back in February. It ended up in Montana before passing an emissions test in California in July. It’s not clear whether these minivans are in the country legally, as doing so is a complicated and often expensive process.
If all the paperwork is in order, though, these LMs make for an intriguing alternative to a big luxury sedan or SUV.
