Ford’s Factory Broncos Are Getting Seriously Funky
Ford’s never been afraid to get weird with the Bronco. Remember the Stroppe Edition? That one was a nod to Baja racing glory and proof that Ford likes to toss out the rulebook when it comes to special editions. Now Ford’s cranking things up with the new Custom Garage program.
Enter the Bronco Desert Rising Edition – the debut act for Ford’s Horizon Series. Instead of chasing racing stripes, this one takes its cues from Mother Nature. Ford’s own Bhavna Mistry says the team pulled inspiration from Utah’s Great Salt Lake, the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, and those wild desert sunrises and sunsets that splash everything in pink, berry, and magenta.

Desert Vibes, Off-Road Attitude
You can’t miss the Desert Rising package. Pink and magenta accents pop everywhere – there’s a custom grille surround, bold BRONCO wordmark, white Method wheels with magenta center caps, and if you’re feeling extra, you can slap on some geometric side graphics. No other Bronco looks quite like this.
Not into wild graphics? No problem – they’re optional, so you can dial the look up or down. The package is available on the Bronco Outer Banks in Oxford White, Shadow Black, Avalanche Gray, or Ruby Red, each one mixing things up with the desert-inspired highlights.
Step inside and the desert party keeps going. There’s Katzkin two-tone leather in magenta and black, matching stitching, colored grab handles, and Bronco logos stitched into the seats. Ford even throws in a serialized badge on the center console, just to remind you this one’s a bit special.

Under the skin, it’s still the Bronco Outer Banks you know – same powertrain, same off-road chops. The Desert Rising Edition is all about the looks, the accessories, and making your Bronco stand out in a crowd. You get Ford Performance parts and Bronco-specific accessories, and as long as you let the pros handle the install, your factory warranty stays safe.
If you want in, orders open today, July 27, 2026. The Desert Rising Edition package will set you back $13,695 on top of whatever you pay for the Bronco Outer Banks donor.
