Mazda’s Impressive November Lease Deals For 2026 CX-70 Easily Undercut CX-90

One of the more recent additions to Mazda’s crossover lineup, the CX-70 has been criticized by some for being too similar to the CX-90. The one major difference is the CX-70’s lack of a third row, but the two are otherwise hard to tell apart.

Still, if you need a classy crossover and don’t need to seat more than five people, the CX-70 is a strong choice in the midsize segment, which includes the Honda Passport. Mazda is currently running a lease deal on the CX-70, and although it’s limited to just one trim, it works out cheaper than the equivalent CX-90.

This Month’s Mazda CX-70 Lease Deals

The 2026 Mazda CX-70’s lease price for this month starts at $412 per month over 33 months, with $3,999 due at signing. This offer includes 10,000 miles per year, but you’ll have to pay $0.15 per mile if you exceed this limit. Excluded from the offer are tax, title, license, and any dealer options or charges.

A quick look at the CX-90’s equivalent lease deal shows a cost of $455/month over a longer 36-month period, with the same upfront cost, so you can save quite a bit over the entire lease term by choosing the two-row CX-70. This Mazda CX-70 lease offer applies to the Turbo Preferred trim, as do the CX-90 costs outlined here. It’s also a California deal, but you can check the lease deals in your area by visiting Mazda’s special offers website page and adding your zip code.

If you’re willing to consider a 2025 CX-70, the same trim is available at $385/month with all other lease terms being the same. It must be noted that you’ll miss out on standard heated and ventilated front seats by going for the 2025 Preferred trim, as these features became standard on the 2026 model. All these deals run until December 1, 2025.

If you don’t want to lease a Mazda CX-70 and would rather purchase it, the prices are as follows:

Turbo Preferred: $42,250Turbo Premium: $46,280Turbo Premium Plus: $49,570Turbo S Premium: $53,240Turbo S Premium Plus: $56,670

There are also two plug-in hybrid versions of the CX-70, with these costing $54,400 (Premium) or $57,450 (Premium Plus). Mazda CX-70 leasing costs for the Premium PHEV are $567/month over 36 months, with $3,999 due at signing—significantly more than the non-hybrid models.

Powertrain and Features

All non-hybrid CX-70s have a 3.3-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine with a mild hybrid system. On ‘Turbo’ models, this engine produces 280 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, while ‘Turbo S’ derivatives make up to 340 hp and 369 lb-ft. An eight-speed automatic and a rear-biased AWD system are standard. The base Turbo Preferred lacks a towing mode, though, so you must settle for its maximum trailering capacity of 3,500 pounds—other trims can tow 5,000 lbs.

The base Turbo Preferred comes with a power moonroof, 21-inch alloy wheels, and LED exterior lighting. For $595 extra, you can have it finished in the brand’s gorgeous Soul Red paint. Head inside, and you’ll find three-zone automatic climate control, radar-based adaptive cruise control, eight-way power front seats with heating and ventilation, heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, an eight-speaker sound system, and a 12.3-inch color infotainment display. That’s a decent amount of kit for a base model.

Top CX-70 trims get quilted Nappa leather seats, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, adaptive front lighting, and a panoramic power moonroof, among other items. This is also one of the safest SUVs you can buy.

Final Thoughts

The justification for the CX-70’s existence alongside the CX-90 became clearer when we drove it earlier this year. Not everybody needs to transport seven or eight people, and the CX-90’s third row isn’t exactly adult-friendly, either. Besides that, you get an unobstructed cargo area in the CX-70, and as this month’s Mazda CX-70 lease offers show, you can save a lot over the entire lease term by going for the two-row crossover.

Although some aspects of the infotainment system need refining, the CX-70 is otherwise difficult to fault. It’s fun to drive yet appropriately refined, and even the base model is generously equipped.
